Hey guys! Just an update to my Dante model here.
So this is an old cast of a sanguinary backpack that I did with less than stellar methods (caulk mold and acrylic resin). The results were bad... However, that was the point all along (possibly), so that I was left with ruined and weathered parts that would serve as great basing elements.
However however however, the method is a royal PITA, and I'm sadly never going to reproduce it, unless I find a way to have a naturally crappy mold without a lot of headaches. You can appreciate all the scratches, warping, and even a bubble that came out as an exploded directional bell which is really classy for thematics. C&C welcome. More pics after the jump, of course!

Lord Commander Cervan Dante of the Emperor's Blood Angels
Paiting was rather simple in this case, I used the White Gold color from the Vallejo Liquid Gold line (796), and then layered him up using watered down Gryphonne Sepia.
